Bali has forever been a go to destination for travelers but I think the movie Eat, Pray, Love has sent an incredible amount of people to Bali in search of themselves. All in all I don't blame them.

Now before you come to Indonesia, you need a Visa. One top of the Visa, there is a Health Form, a Customs form and a Levi tax all to be filled out before entering the country. Now that you have all that out of the way, enjoy.

The driver picked me up and took me to the W Bali Seminyak. The hotel was a great choice, popular area and had its own beach, cant go wrong there. With traffic it's about an hour away from the airport. Now traffic in Bali is the craziest thing I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of crazy.

I arrived to the hotel one the eve of my birthday and I had no plans. I wanted to relax and relax I did. I managed to book a spa treatment that came with a foot massage, a massage and one of those flower baths, just what the doctor ordered. Followed that up with dinner at the Woo bar at the hotel with beachfront views of the planes coming into Denpasar Airport.

The next day was by far the longest day I've had in a while. I wanted to spend my birthday in Bali and alotted enought time to do just that. I was well rested from the night before and got up and made 6:30 breakfast. I had a 7:00am tour which first stopped at the Bali Swings. I was not all that interested so I moved to the Sangeh Monkey Forest. After visiting the premises with a guide I took pictures with the animals.

From there we drove to the Cafe Dew. Here there are swings, rice terracess, local icecream and so much more. I then drove to Cahya Dewi to try Kopi Luwak. The coffee was interesting and one of the things you should try in Bali. Other things on the Agenda were the Pura Tirta Water temple and the Ulu Petanu Waterfall.

The ride back to the hotel was roughly two hours. I had to get ready for the final item of the day, the birthdat dinner. This was at Koral Restaurant in Nusa Dua. The restaurant itself requires it's own blog but I can tell you its a wonderful experience.

This ended my time in Bali but I must admit, its one of those place i expected a little and really grew on me while there. I see a month in Bali on the menu real soon.
