When Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman teamed up for the movie “The Bucket List” in 2007 (If you haven’t seen it, do so now) they were onto something. They did not actually create the term, they just made a great movie out of it.
I too have a bucket list, it’s not a list of things to do before I “Kick the bucket” rather objectives that will ultimately allow me to achieve my goals.
Setting goals and preparing a bucket list is one of the same. My short-term goal is to visit 10 countries per year and my long-term goal is to visit every country in the world (currently at 22). However, I will be okay, if this does not go as planned. Unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way but the bonus of it all are the moments and experiences I I'll gain along the way.
Whether its high tea in London, speaking another language, working abroad, climbing Machu Picchu or living your best life, a bucket list is a pivotal part of life. - Well, at least I think so...
