Today is the day! What an incredible feeling!
Yesterday, for the first time in 15 months I woke up to an email I looked forward to seeing... It's time to check-in. No, I don't mean check in on that friend you swore you'd check in on but never quite managed to but check-in for an actual flight.
The last 15 months have been long but tolerable. I probably ordered from every restaurant in my local area via Ubereats and added one or two dishes to my repertoire. I even picked up a few new not-so-local favorites by ordering on Goldbelly. (Hattie B's Fry chicken is my fave)
I chose not to travel but honestly, I did miss it. I decided to give the healthcare workers one less person to look out for.
Hopefully, this is the last time I won't know where my passport is. For now, I am just happy to be back!
