With roughly six hours in the city, I tried my best to do as much as I could. I started with the National Museum of African American History and Culture but learned the hard way that a visit must be reserved. Not to dwell on this, I went to the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.
The Roosevelt Memorial was another place where I learned a lot of history. Constitution Gardens was another great place I visited. Afterward, I walked to the Lincoln Memorial. To the right of the Memorial is the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
After walking around all day, I wanted something to ease my mind to end the day. Dinner at the Jefferson would do.I managed to have a lovely dinner and an impressive desert before leaving the city.
